This is a pretty big dog park that offers separated areas for small and large dogs to roam around in. It’s a $15 yearly fee to play in the park for Cape Coral residents. Come sit down and relax on a shaded bench and watch your pup have some fun.
Bonita Beach Dog Park in Lover’s Key State Park, Bonita Springs
Want to bring your pup to the beach? The Bonita Beach Dog Park is a special beach area made specially for dogs! It is a strip of land on the outside edge of Lover’s Key State Park. You don’t have to have your dog on a leash here. This beach is free.
Yappy Hour in Fort Myers
Forget happy hour, come out for a Yappy Hour. On the second Friday of each month the Bell Tower Shops hosts a Yappy Hour. You can meet adoptable dogs, get drinks from an outdoor bar, listen to live music, get pet photo session, eat at a pet-friendly restaurant, and more! These events benefit the the Gulf Coast Humane Society. It is held from 6 to 8 p.m. Drinking bowls are even left outside the shops!.
