Fall is a beautiful time of year in Florida. The weather is starting to cool down and more activities are popping up across towns. From festivals to art shows, there’s so many things going on during the fall months. As more “snow birds” start to flock down for the season, you’ll be seeing even more events occurring each week.

Peace Day in the Park | September 23
Alliance for the Arts Center
Fort Myers McGregor Blvd., Cape Coral
10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
This is the 11th annual Peace Day in the Park, which is a grassroots community event that features musicians, artists, performance groups, and vendors in honor of International Day of Peace. This event is free and pet friendly.
Free Movie in the Park: “Coco” | October 6
Jim Jeffers Park, Cape Coral
6 to 9 p.m.
The movie is free and will be screened on a giant inflatable screen. Crafts and activities are available for kids before the movie starts. Movie starts at dusk.
Cape Bike Night | October 13
Location: TBD, Cape Coral
Cape Coral Parks and Recreations hosts this night where motorcycle enthusiast can get together and listen to live bands and eat great food. Visitors can see new products and biker gear.
Junk in the Trunk Fest | October 13
8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Four Freedoms Park, Fort Myers
This is one of the biggest community yard sales.
Naples Artcrafters Fine Art & Craft Show | October 21
10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Art show featuring 80 juried exhibitors.
Coconut Festival | November 8-11
Sun Splash Festival Grounds
This is a huge event that draws in around 200,00 people. It has national and community performers, carnival rides, craft beer garden, fireworks, and great food. On the stages, there is a country night and a rock night. There is also a 5K that goes along with the festival.
