Now that school's out for summer parents will be looking for fun excursions for the kids. There's a new park in the Cape called Tropical Breeze Fun Park. The park's mini-golf course is already open and it looks like a lot of fun. The beautiful tropical landscaping creates an attractive setting for the course. Picture putting amid coconut palms and bougainvillea. Other highlights include waterfalls and the purported world's longest hole. The course is said to be challenging enough to make it appealing to the whole family. This new fun spot is located at 234 Santa Barbara Blvd and is open year round, seven days a week from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.

Set to open any day now, at the same park is an extreme outdoor laser tag center. In case (like me) you aren't really sure what laser tag is, Wikipedia describes it as "a tag game played with guns which fire infrared beams" and the players wear infrared sensitive targets. Laser tag centers have been gaining in popularity since the first center opened in 2010 and laser tag facilities have popped up all over the country.
