Statistics were tabulated by RentRage, one of the leading providers of rental market data. The highest increase in the country was seen in the McAllen/Edinburg/Mission TX area.
Additionally LendingTree puts Fort Myers at #8 in the country for the highest rental rate spike for the period from 2011 to 2016. This translates to an average increase of $435 during the five year period, compared to just $80 nationally.
